The Super Bowl LVIII matchup is set, and it looks like fans are paying a high premium for an opportunity to catch the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers in action at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. TicketNetwork marketplace data shows that consumers are seeing a minimum asking price approximately 15% higher compared with the prices for Super Bowl LVII a year ago.
This data was discussed as part of the pricing trends for the game with TicketNews.com:
“Fans shopping for tickets have had to absorb super high prices all year, and the Super Bowl is no different… Between the fan excitement for a first-ever Vegas Super Bowl and the fact that the league’s owners have exerted tighter control over ticket inventory for the league’s marquee event every year, this one is shaping up to be another record-setting hit to fans’ wallets.”

Ticket Club, a membership-based ticket resale platform powered by the TicketNetwork exchange, showed a “get-in” ticket price for Super Bowl LVIII standing at $8,500 on Monday morning following the AFC and NFC Championship contests the previous night. That figure was just under 15% higher than the “get-in” minimum price for the day after the same playoff round a year ago.
As is always the case, the ticket resale marketplace for Super Bowl tickets will continue to evolve throughout the coming days before the big game. A year ago, the average price paid for a ticket to Super Bowl LVII wound up being just below $5,500.
