TicketNetwork Green Initiative

Green Initiative

Supporting a healthy environment is a key aspect of the TicketNetwork culture. Employees enjoy seasonal fruits and vegetables from the company’s community garden, visits to resident animals down in the sanctuary, and now work in a building featuring a state of the art solar roof array minimizing our consumption of electricity from the grid.

Solar Roof Project

Completed in the spring of 2019, TicketNetwork’s state-of-the-art solar array will offset nearly 68% of the company’s
annual energy use. After an up-front investment of $2.5 million to install, the
1.4MW solar system is expected to pay for
itself in less than four years and reduces the
company’s carbon footprint dramatically.

Animal Sanctuary

Nestled in a clearing on TicketNetwork’s South Windsor campus, the sanctuary provides a safe environment for its resident llamas, goats, geese, and chickens. The animals are cared for by a dedicated staff and volunteers, roaming their roomy enclosures and providing a welcome relief from work’s stresses for employees and family members who pay them regular visits.

Community Garden

Visible from I-84 TicketNetwork’s community garden is one of our most frequently noted features by those zipping by headed to Connecticut’s capital city.
Herbs, fruit, and vegetables from the garden are regularly harvested and shared with staff, as well as included in meals made in our company staff cafeteria.
